Erik Haagensen has worked for more than 35 years as a writer, editor, and copyeditor in the field of journalism, including seven years editing financial advice at Investopedia.com. He spent 13 years at Back Stage, where he rose to become the newspaper's national theatre editor and head theatre critic. He also worked as an editor for the law firm of Lewis and Tonachel and as executive assistant/editor for Kevin O’Connor at OwrOpinion, a private equity firm run by O'Connor.
